According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have registered the contract termination of left-back Denner Evangelista, 18, in the CBF’s BID, following his sale to Chelsea in early 2025.
The deal was worth €10 million fixed plus €4 million in bonuses, equating to R$61.3 million and R$24.5 million at the time. Corinthians retain 15% of any profit Chelsea make on a future resale.
Denner will sign a seven-year contract running to 2032. He had been tied to Corinthians until March 2027 after a renewal under Augusto Melo, but a domestic release formula of 2,000 times his salary, coupled with low wages, made him reachable for Série A sides and hastened negotiations.
In October 2025 he travelled to England at Chelsea’s request for surgery on the meniscus in his right knee. He was initially expected back between November and December to play the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, but the English club kept him there until rehabilitation concluded. As Corinthians no longer held his economic rights, they did not object.
Last season he played 17 times for the under-20s, eight in the Copinha, from 47 possible, and made four under-17 appearances from the same number of fixtures. He scored four goals and supplied four assists, spending most of the year with the older age group.
