On Saturday, Corinthians goalkeeper Lelê became a doubt for the Brasileirão Feminino opener after a head collision in the Supercopa do Brasil Feminina final, which the team lost to Palmeiras on penalties.

The incident happened in the 16th minute of the first half during a swift Palmeiras attack. Bia Zaneratto contested the ball with Lelê and the keeper took a knee to the head. According to Meu Timao, she left the stadium walking unaided.

With the concussion protocol in effect, both teams were permitted an additional substitution. Lelê will be held out of training for five days to allow full recovery. The club must also submit detailed exams confirming no symptoms and a medical report outlining the treatment.

As a result, she may not be available to Lucas Piccinato for Friday’s trip to Atlético-MG at Arena MRV, the opening round of the Brasileirão Feminino. If she is not available, Nicole is likely to start in goal.

This is not the first concussion setback for Corinthians’ women. In 2024, Vic Albuquerque sustained a concussion in the Libertadores and missed the first phase. In 2025, Letícia Teles and Letícia Monteiro were absentees in the Copa do Brasil.
