Gaviões da Fiel, Corinthians' largest organised supporters' group, hosted a lunch on Sunday to honour its former presidents ahead of the association's anniversary.
In a statement, Gaviões said the gathering at its headquarters united past leaders and celebrated every generation, underlining the group's tradition and legacy while tightening links between past and present in defence of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista.
Founded in July 1969, Gaviões da Fiel is Brazil's oldest organised supporters' group and now has more than 130,000 members. It emerged from the terraces wanting to back Corinthians on the pitch and play a role in the club's political and administrative life.
Its activities extend beyond football through year-round social initiatives, including community celebrations and an inclusion project. The group is a fixture at São Paulo's Carnival, winning four titles in the 1990s and early 2000s, and finishing runner-up most recently with the theme 'Vozes Ancestrais Para Um Novo Amanhã'.
The association has had 27 terms across 25 presidents. Since 2024 it has been led by president Alexandre Domênico Pereira, known as Alê, with vice-presidents Fabio de Oliveira Camara, Fantasma, and Sergio Luis Lopes de Barros, Serginho. Their mandates run until 2027, when elections are scheduled.
