According to Meu Timao, on Friday Corinthians handed out Supercopa do Brasil winners’ medals to staff at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, distributing 105 across departments including maintenance, security, gardening, kitchen, cleaning and communications.

Corinthians earned their Supercopa place by winning the 2025 Copa do Brasil, beating Vasco da Gama 2-1 in the final for a fourth title. They then defeated Brazilian champions Flamengo 2-0, with goals from Gabriel Paulista and Yuri Alberto.

The initiative was publicised by Marcelo Paz, the club’s executive director for men’s football, alongside the Cultural Department, on social media. He stressed the value of unity and collective effort, and staff also posed with the trophy.

Since lifting the Supercopa, results have fluctuated. The side lost to Novorizontino in the Paulista semi-finals and dismissed Dorival Júnior after nine matches without a win. Fernando Diniz took charge and improved performances, securing Libertadores round of 16 qualification with two games to spare.

Corinthians now prepare to face São Paulo on Sunday in the Brasileirão, with kick-off at 18:30 at Neo Química Arena in the 15th round.
