Corinthians host special day for children with NGO support

Corinthians' training on Thursday, 9th, at CT Joaquim Grava, had a special visit. The black and white squad received members from the NGO Make-A-Wish Brazil, an institution that fulfills dreams of children with serious illnesses throughout the country. After the field activities, the Timão players dedicated a moment of affection and attention to the visitors, with photos, autographs, and club gifts.

Representing the organization, volunteer Vanessa de Paula dos Santos highlighted the emotional impact of the visit: "These boys' dream is to meet Corinthians, to be at the CT close to the players. This moment ends up being quite transformative for the children because it brings hope and a breath of life in a difficult time. It helps in the treatment and helps to overcome the difficulties of the disease. Corinthians' support at this moment will be very important and unforgettable for the children and their families."

Striker Yuri Alberto also spoke about the action. "It's important to receive these visits. Back in São José dos Campos, I usually visit an NGO near my house called GACC (Child Cancer Assistance Group). You don't know how good it is for them to receive us. For us it may seem like a simple gesture, but for them it can change a lot. A child can be very happy and can start to eat and focus on their treatment. Passing joy and good energy to them is too good", he declared.
