Corinthians host Taubaté, eyeing Paulista women's basketball run

On the night of this Friday, September 19, Corinthians takes to the court to face newcomer Taubaté in the São Paulo Women's Basketball Championship. The game tips off at Wlamir Marques Gymnasium, Parque São Jorge, starting at 7 PM (Brasília time). It is the fifth round of the tournament's first phase.

The Furiosas come into the match after defeating SESI Araraquara away, maintaining a good performance in the competition. The only loss in four games was to Ourinhos, who is the leader of the competition – Corinthians is in third place.

Probable lineup

Looking to maintain the positive streak in the competition, Bruno Guidorizzi is likely to send out a starting five consisting of Nazinha, Alana Gonçalo, Yasmim, Licinara, and Ana Beatriz.

Besides the fans being able to attend the gym and watch the Furiosas up close and in loco, the match will also be broadcast on YouTube, free of charge and with images. The channel responsible for the broadcast is Corinthians TV, in partnership with the São Paulo Basketball Federation (FPB).

Next match

The next match for Corinthians women's basketball takes place next Friday, September 26, again in the state tournament. This time, the match is against Unimed Campinas, at the Tennis Club Gymnasium, in Campinas.
