According to Meu Timao, the midfielder spoke publicly for the first time about the events that led to his contract being terminated, which was confirmed in early March.

For the second month running, the club failed to meet the deadline for paying May salaries.

The delay affected the first-team players and the coaching staff led by Fernando Diniz.

At academy level, Corinthians thrashed Grêmio 7-0 in the third round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Under-17, a result that moved them top of the national competition.
