Saturday brought a flurry around Corinthians, with transfer interest in Matheuzinho, an update on delayed wages and fresh comments on a possible transfer ban.

According to Meu Timao, right-back Matheuzinho is on the radar of Zenit of Russia. Despite the inquiry, Corinthians have not received any official offer.

Club president Osmar Stabile addressed the late salary payments, playing down the issue and saying the amounts should be regularised in the coming days.
