Corinthians learn 2026 Libertadores group, open away to Platense | OneFootball

Conmebol held the 2026 Copa Libertadores group draw in Luque, Paraguay on Thursday night, placing Corinthians in Group E with Peñarol, Independiente Santa Fe and Platense.

According to Meu Timao, Conmebol will confirm fixture details by Friday night, with Corinthians to open away to Platense in Argentina.

Each group has four teams playing home and away, the top two progress directly to the round of 16, while third place drops into the Copa Sudamericana play-offs. The group phase runs from seven April to 28 May.

The round of 16 is scheduled for 11 to 20 August. Quarter-finals follow from eight to 17 September, with the semi-finals on 14 and 22 October.

The final is on 28 November, a single match at the Estádio Centenário in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. This is Corinthians' 18th appearance, their sole title came in 2012 and they have not lifted it since.
