Corinthians learn Paulista Women's semi-final opponents, updated table

With goals from Letícia Monteiro, Ivana Fuso, and Eudimilla, Corinthians defeated Realidade Jovem 3-0 on Sunday night (16th), at Estádio Municipal José Liberatti, in Osasco, for the 14th and final round of the first phase of the Paulista Women's Championship. With this result, the Alvinegro finished the initial stage at the top with 35 points (11 wins, two draws, and one loss – 32 goals scored and six conceded).

Additionally, Corinthians also learned their opponent for the semifinals of the state championship: São Paulo, who finished the first phase of the tournament in fourth place with 21 points, drawing 1-1 with Ferroviária in Cotia this Sunday. Having had a better campaign, the Brabas will play the second leg at home.

The Paulista Football Federation (FPF) is expected to announce the details of both matches in the coming hours. The base dates for the two Majestosos are November 23 and December 3. Last Saturday (15th), Meu Timão reported that Corinthians are trying to change the date of the second match, since six Corinthians players will be serving the Brazilian and Venezuelan national teams, respectively, during the last FIFA window of the year for the category.

Palmeiras finished the first phase as runners-up with 30 points, five fewer than Corinthians. Ferroviária, in turn, came in third with 25. Both teams will face each other in the other semifinal, with Alviverde able to decide a possible qualification at home, since they had a better campaign.

On the other hand, finishing between fifth and eighth place were: RB Bragantino (21 points), Santos (16 points), Taubaté (six points), and Realidade Jovem (one point). In the 2025 season, Corinthians and São Paulo have already faced each other seven times in women's football, with two wins for each side and three draws. The matches took place in the Women's Supercup, Copa do Brasil, Paulista Championship, and Brasileirão.

In the Supercup and Copa do Brasil, São Paulo ended up knocking out the Brabas. In the semifinals of the Brasileirão, however, the Brabas got their revenge and eliminated their rivals. The last match between the teams took place on November 1, during the first phase of the state championship, at Parque São Jorge, and ended with a 3-1 victory for Corinthians.
