Corinthians completed their only training session on Saturday ahead of facing Cruzeiro at 19:30 on Sunday at the Neo Química Arena in the Brasileirão’s 23rd round.

According to Globo.com, Fernando Diniz had little time to prepare the side after Friday’s return from Argentina following the Conmebol Libertadores meeting with Rosario Central.

The team is expected to start with many reserves given fatigue and numerous injuries. Out are full-back Hugo, midfielders André and Zakaria Labyad, and forwards Yuri Alberto, Pedro Raul, Vitinho and Kayke, all injured.

A possible XI is: Hugo Souza, Pedro Milans, André Ramalho, João Pedro Tchoca, Angileri, Allan, Matheus Pereira, Charles, Lingard, Dieguinho and Gui Negão.

On the eve of the game, Diniz showed a video with instructions, then led a 10 v 10 tactical session. He also rehearsed set-piece routines.

Corinthians beat Red Bull Bragantino 2-0 in their last league outing. They have 32 points and began the round in eighth place.
