Corinthians loanee Ellen Cristine has gone more than nine months without scoring, with six outings for Botafogo yet to yield a goal.

According to Meu Timao, the 23-year-old forward joined Botafogo on loan until the end of 2026 to increase her minutes after a major rebuild of the Corinthians women’s squad.

Her last goal came for Corinthians in a 3-2 win over Red Bull Bragantino on four September 2025, in the first phase of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino at Estádio Municipal de Bragança Paulista.

Since then, she has featured seven more times, one for Timão and six for Botafogo, without scoring, a run totalling 277 minutes.

Even so, this is her busiest professional campaign, as six matches in 2026 already surpass her previous best of five for Corinthians in 2022.

An academy graduate, she became the first player developed at Corinthians to debut for the women’s first team in 2022, but a sequence of injuries led to at least five knee surgeries.

Since arriving at Parque São Jorge in 2020, she has made 12 senior appearances for Corinthians, all as a substitute, scoring three goals, and added three in 20 youth games. Her contract runs until the end of 2026.

During the FIFA window, Emily Lima’s side prepare for a 17 July return at home to Ferroviária in the Paulista Feminino. The Brabas are playing two behind-closed-doors friendlies against the United States under-23s, the first was on Friday at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava and the second is on nine June in Cotia at Estádio Marcelo Portugal Gouvêa.
