Corinthians lose two late on vs RB Bragantino, see who risks ban

On the evening of this Wednesday, November 5, at 7 PM (Brasília time), Corinthians will visit Red Bull Bragantino at the Cícero Souza Marques Stadium in Atibaia, for the 32nd round of the Brazilian Championship. Currently, the Alvinegro is in tenth place with 42 points (11 wins, nine draws, and 11 losses – 34 goals scored and 35 conceded).

For the match, the Corinthians technical team faced two last-minute absences: goalkeeper Hugo Souza, with a left thigh injury that occurred in last Sunday's (2) match against Grêmio, for the Brasileirão, at the Neo Química Arena. As a result, the player will be preserved to be available for the game on Sunday (9), against Ceará, in Itaquera, for the 33rd round of the national competition.

The goalkeeper was also absent against Vitória on the 25th, away from home, with a left shoulder injury. Besides him, left-back Hugo Farias was – with a backache – preserved from Tuesday's training and is a certain absence for the match against Massa Bruta. Recently, the number 46 had a hernia surgery injury and was out of activities for almost two months.

Midfielder André started physical transition after a ligament injury in his right ankle and remains out. Midfielder Vitinho, recovering from surgery on the medial meniscus of his right knee, also remains absent.

On the other hand, midfielders Raniele, José Martínez, and Breno Bidon are available again for Dorival Júnior's technical team after serving suspension in last Sunday's (2) match against Grêmio at the Neo Química Arena. The first two were absent due to a third yellow card. Bidon, in turn, was sent off in the match against Vitória and could not be on the field against the Gaucho team.

Defender Félix Torres, who hasn't played for Corinthians since August 27 – the first leg of the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals against Athletico-PR – was not listed due to a technical decision by Dorival Júnior. The Ecuadorian has been losing more and more space after his recent performances for the club.

Corinthians will also have to be attentive to the situations of left-back Matheus Bidu, midfielders Charles and André Carrillo, midfielder Rodrigo Garro, and forward Talles Magno. The quintet is on two yellow cards, and if they are cautioned again, they will not face Ceará next Sunday (9), at 4 PM (Brasília time), in Itaquera, for the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship.
