Corinthians medical team attend shockwave therapy seminar at CT Joaquim Grava | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians' medical department took part in a seminar on shockwave therapy at CT Joaquim Grava on Wednesday.

Doctors and physiotherapists from the club's men's, women's and academy setups were present. The session was led by Dr Paulo Facciolla Kertzman, president of the Sociedade Brasileira de Tratamento por Ondas de Choque, in the Flexform lecture room.

The event was organised by Ricardo Galotti, head of Corinthians' medical department. Around 15 staff members attended.

Earlier in the interseason, on the 8th, Dr Fernando Soléra, an anti-doping specialist with Fifa, Conmebol and the CBF, and Lucas Berardi, a postgraduate sports dentistry professor at USP and Unitalo, delivered a preventive anti-doping talk to the squad.

Corinthians completed their 18th day of interseason training on Wednesday morning, following two days off after Sunday's friendly with Cascavel.

The players return to work on Thursday morning, 16. The next fixture is on Thursday 23 at 19:30 against Remo at Neo Química Arena, in the 19th round of the Brasileirão.
