Corinthians move Brasileirão Feminino match to Canindé | OneFootball

Corinthians will host Vitória in the 13th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino at Canindé on Sunday 26 at 11:00.

The switch was made official on Tuesday after a club request, with the game initially slated for Fazendinha, Parque São Jorge. The move follows criticism of that pitch during Friday’s 1-0 win over Ferroviária in the Campeonato Paulista. According to Meu Timao, the club also needed Fire Department clearance to stage that match because CBF-mandated reports were not in order.

Corinthians hold a dominant record at Canindé. The Brabas have played 19 times there, winning 17, drawing one and losing one, with 58 goals scored and only seven conceded.

The team head into the fixture seeking a response after Monday’s Copa do Brasil elimination.

In the league they lead on 28 points, one ahead of Palmeiras, while Vitória are 16th with 12.
