Corinthians move for two signings before Supercopa meeting with Flamengo | OneFootball

Corinthians have stepped up moves for two reinforcements, Alisson and Júnior Santos, as they prepare to meet Flamengo in the Supercopa on 1 February at Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha, Brasília.

According to Coluna Do Fla, a verbal agreement is in place with São Paulo to loan midfielder Alisson until the end of the year, with Corinthians covering the 32-year-old’s wages.

The financial package includes R$ one million paid up front to São Paulo, then R$ 500 thousand in the second half of the year. A further R$ one and a half million would be due if Alisson reaches a pre-agreed appearance threshold.

Corinthians have also opened talks with Atlético-MG over forward Júnior Santos. The plan is a one-year loan at no cost, and the player is 31.

Flamengo, champions of Brazil in 2025, face Corinthians, last season’s Copa do Brasil winners. Kick-off is 16:00 Brasília time on Sunday, 1 February.
