Corinthians move to extend Matheus Donelli loan at Shabab Al Ahli to 2026 | OneFootball

Corinthians have moved to extend goalkeeper Matheus Donelli’s loan at Shabab Al Ahli, in the United Arab Emirates, until 31 December 2026. The deal is in its legal phase and should be confirmed in the coming days.

According to Globo.com, the Emirati club will continue to cover the 24-year-old’s wages in full during the extended spell.

Donelli was released by Corinthians in early February but is yet to be named in a matchday squad for his new side.

Last year he had a run as Corinthians’ starter, playing 11 matches and conceding 14 goals.

With limited opportunities under Fernando Diniz, Corinthians view another loan favourably. His contract with the club runs until 30 June 2028.
