Corinthians name XI to face Coritiba as Dorival Júnior serves suspension

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have named their side to face Coritiba in the fifth round of the Brasileirão. Kick-off is 21:30 on Wednesday at Neo Química Arena, with assistant Lucas Silvestre, son of Dorival Júnior, on the touchline as the head coach is suspended.
Timão start with Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Allan, Breno Bidon, André Luiz, Rodrigo Garro, Gui Negão and Memphis Depay.
Among the substitutes are Kauê, João Pedro Tchoca, André Ramalho, Vitinho, Raniele, Pedro Raul, Carrillo, Pedro Milans, Angileri, Charles, Zakaria Labyad and Dieguinho. The Moroccan midfielder could make his debut after being included for the first time.
Coritiba, coached by Fernando Seabra, line up with Pedro Rangel, JP Chermont, Maicon, Jacy, Bruno Melo, Wallisson, Sebas Gómez, Josué, Lucas Ronier, Breno Lopes and Pedro Rocha.
Corinthians are without goalkeeper Felipe Longo, midfielder Matheus Pereira and forwards Kaio César and Yuri Alberto, all still in physical transition. Left-back Hugo Farias remains sidelined following arthroscopy on the lateral meniscus of his right knee. Jesse Lingard is not yet registered in the Boletim Informativo Diário (BID).
Corinthians sit third with seven points and a goal difference of two. São Paulo are second on 10 points with a goal difference of four, Palmeiras lead on 10 and seven. A win would draw Corinthians level with both on points and number of victories, with top spot then decided by goal difference.
