Corinthians name XI with returns for clássico at Santos | OneFootball

Corinthians have confirmed their line-up for the Clássico Alvinegro against Santos at Vila Belmiro, with kick-off at 16:00.

According to Meu Timao, the Timão start with Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Raniele, Carrillo, André, Breno Bidon, Kaio César and Memphis Depay.

Santos, coached by Juan Pablo Vojvoda, begin with Gabriel Brazão, Adonis Frías, Zé Ivaldo, Luan Peres, Rony, Christian Oliva, Gustavo Henrique, Gabriel Bontempo, Barreal, Neymar and Gabriel Barbosa.

Kaio César returns from injury and starts, while André Carrillo also comes back into the XI after recent rotation, and Matheus Pereira is back among the options. On the Corinthians bench are Kauê, Fabrizio Angileri, Pedro Milans, André Ramalho, Charles, Matheus Pereira, Allan, Rodrigo Garro, Gui Negão, Kayke, Pedro Raul and Vitinho.

Felipe Longo misses out due to a strain in the right elbow ligament, and left-back Hugo Farias continues treatment on a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee.

Yuri Alberto is in the final phase of recovery from a grade 2 injury to the left hamstring. João Pedro Tchoca and Zakaria Labyad, available last time out, did not travel with the squad.

Corinthians sit 10th on seven points, a win would close the gap to the leading pack and trim the distance to the G4. Santos have five points in 14th.
