Corinthians’ packed week: Brasileirão, futsal, South American basketball

The month of October is coming to an end and, with that, Corinthians will have more important commitments this season, depending on the sport. In the Brasileirão, the competition is entering its final stretch, as is the Paulista Futsal Championship. On the other hand, the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) is just now starting to take shape.

Corinthians’ first match this week takes place on Tuesday, the 21st, precisely for the NBB. In the second round of the competition, the People’s Team visits Cruzeiro in search of their first victory, after losing to Minas in the opener. Tip-off is at 8:30 PM (Brasília time), at Ginásio Dona Salomé.

The next commitments take place only on Thursday, October 23. At 5:00 PM, the Furiosas take the court to face SESI Araraquara in the realignment phase of the Paulista Women’s Basketball Championship, inside Parque São Jorge.

On the same day, but at 7:00 PM, the futsal team begins the knockout stage of the Paulista Championship in the quarterfinals, against Pulo Futsal. Having had a better campaign in the initial phase, Corinthians plays the first game away, at Ginásio Rogê Ferreira.

After that, on Friday, the men’s basketball team begins the group stage of the South American Basketball League, hosted at Ginásio Wlamir Marques. The first match is against ABC Camp, starting at 8:00 PM.

Football returns only on Saturday, the 25th. Corinthians travels to Salvador to face Vitória in the 30th round of the Brasileirão. The match kicks off at Barradão at 4:00 PM, with Timão looking to start a winning streak and climb up the league table.

A few hours later, Corinthians Basketball takes the court to face Defender Sporting in the second round of the South American League, at 7:10 PM. The last round takes place on Sunday, the 26th, against Quimsa, also at 7:10 PM.
