Corinthians unveiled Jesse Lingard to the Fiel during half-time of the match against Coritiba at Neo Química Arena.

According to Meu Timao, the English attacker appeared on the big screen alongside children, then walked to the centre circle to greet supporters. A giant flag in the East Stand and the stadium screen carried the slogan "Do Reino à Favela".

Before kick-off, he had already been introduced in a press conference in the Neo Química Arena media room, posing with the shirt before watching from a box.

On the pitch, Corinthians were trailing 1-0 to Coritiba, missing the chance to go top of the Campeonato Brasileiro in the fifth round.

On social media, the club extended the announcement video, adding scenes of Lingard in a community, engaging with Brazilian daily life and light-hearted jokes about the country.

Lingard is not yet eligible to debut, with the club awaiting documentation to complete his registration on the CBF’s BID. While unavailable for this fixture, the club hope his work visa will be regularised so he could make a first appearance on Sunday against Santos at Vila Belmiro.
