Corinthians are reconsidering selling midfielder André Luiz and could revisit terms with Milan after initially moving towards a deal worth up to 17 million euros, according to Meu Timao.

The package was 15 million euros guaranteed plus two million in add-ons for 70% of his rights, with the player set to waive the rest. The club believe a higher fee is possible.

After the Paulista semi-final loss to Novorizontino, football executive Marcelo Paz confirmed Milan’s offer but said no agreement had been sealed. He added there was no bid from Juventus. The final call sits with president Osmar Stabile, who may reopen talks.

The two million euros depends on André playing at least 45 minutes in 20 matches before mid-year. With Europe’s window reopening in July, he would stay at Parque São Jorge until the World Cup. Corinthians would retain 20% of profit on a future sale.

Head coach Dorival Júnior criticised the potential exit, questioning a financial priority over technical return and saying he had shared his view with Osmar Stabile. He argued the 19-year-old, recently back from a serious injury and prepared for nearly three months, needs time at the club to mature.

André made his senior debut in September against Fluminense under Dorival, and has played 24 games, 10 as a starter, scoring four goals.
