Corinthians register Zakaria Labyad for Paulistão, finalise 35-man squad | OneFootball

Corinthians have registered midfielder Zakaria Labyad for the Campeonato Paulista. The Moroccan, announced on Friday, can make his debut on Sunday against Portuguesa.

Friday was the final day to register players for the rest of the competition, according to Meu Timao. Corinthians freed the slot held by Félix Torres, currently on loan at Internacional, and Labyad had already been cleared on the CBF BID.

With his inclusion, Corinthians have finalised a 35-player squad for the Paulistão, featuring 27 names in List A and eight in List B.

List B is reserved for academy-developed players, carries no upper limit, and requires a minimum age of 16 plus a continuous six-month club registration.

Labyad’s contract runs until 31 December 2026, with an automatic extension to the end of 2027 if he meets the targets set in the deal.

The List A group includes Matheus Pereira, Gabriel Paulista, Memphis Depay and Yuri Alberto, while academy talents such as Breno Bidon feature in List B.
