Corinthians have turned down an offer from Erzurumspor FK of Türkiye for 19-year-old forward Gui Negão, who remains in the club’s plans, according to Meu Timao.

The development came on an eventful Wednesday for the Fiel.

Former Corinthians financial director Pedro Silveira discussed the background to Memphis Depay’s arrival, outlining unsuccessful attempts to sign Balotelli and Gabigol.

He described the Dutchman’s recruitment as the right call for the club.
