Corinthians resumed on Monday morning after a Sunday off, completing double sessions at CT Joaquim Grava.

The club said Fernando Diniz led work split into two stations, possession with finishing and a small-sided five v five.

Players then moved into a 10 v 10 technical and tactical exercise, focused on beating a mid-block press, playing out from goal kicks under high pressure, and runs in behind.

In the afternoon, the squad undertook a strength session in the gym.

Jesse Lingard, granted leave last week to attend his grandfather’s funeral in England, returned to the facility and trained with the group.

Corinthians are due to play Cascavel in a friendly on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time, at Estádio Municipal Arnaldo Busato in Cascavel.
