Corinthians sign Allan on loan from Flamengo, details inside

Late Wednesday afternoon (11th), Corinthians officially announced the arrival of midfielder Allan, 28, on loan from Flamengo until the end of the season. The deal includes a purchase option of two million euros (a little over R$ 12 million). The player is the fifth reinforcement for the team this year. Previously, they signed: defender Gabriel Paulista, right-back Pedro Milans, midfielder Matheus Pereira, and forward Kaio César.

At Corinthians, Allan arrives to compete for the first midfielder position, which currently has Raniele as the undisputed starter. The athlete's arrival was significantly influenced by coach Dorival Júnior. According to the player himself, they discussed a possible move to Parque São Jorge over a call, which facilitated the negotiations.

Moments after his official announcement, the player was registered in the Daily Information Bulletin (BID) and is now eligible to make his debut for Corinthians. Amidst a high number of games in a short period, Allan is expected to be heavily utilized throughout the season, as the team will compete in: Conmebol Libertadores, Brazilian Championship, Paulista Championship, and Copa do Brasil.

Allan's Career, Corinthians' New Reinforcement

Revealed in Internacional's youth system, midfielder Allan has experience in foreign clubs, having played in Finland, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus, and England. In 2019, he returned to Brazil to play for Fluminense, then coached by Fernando Diniz. Later, in 2020, he was acquired by Atlético-MG, where he stayed until 2022, winning the Campeonato Mineiro (2020, 2021, and 2022), Copa do Brasil (2021), and Brazilian Championship (2021).

Since 2023, he was at Flamengo, but in recent months, he lost his place in Filipe Luís's team and was consequently put on the negotiable list. In 2026, he played only once for the Rubro-Negro. At the Rio de Janeiro club, he won the state championship (2024 and 2025), Copa do Brasil (2024), the Brasileirão (2025), and Conmebol Libertadores (2025).
