Corinthians began preparations on Thursday for the 10th round Brasileirão meeting with Internacional at Neo Química Arena on Sunday 5, kick-off 19:30, amid pressure from organised supporters.

According to Meu Timao, leaders from Gaviões da Fiel arrived at CT Joaquim Grava in the morning before training and issued strong demands after the team went eight matches without a win in 2026.

Players who logged more than 45 minutes in Wednesday’s defeat to Fluminense did only recovery work, while the rest went through activation and warm-ups on the pitch.

Dorival Júnior oversaw pressing and possession work, plus small-sided games, then attacking drills focused on passing, crossing and finishing.

Head coach Dorival Júnior will have goalkeeper Hugo Souza and midfielder André Carrillo back from Brazil and Peru duty after the last international window. Raniele also returns from suspension.

Allan and left-back Matheus Bidu are suspended. Memphis Depay has a strain to the front of his right thigh, Gui Negão a grade two injury in the right thigh, and Kaio César peripheral fibrotic inflammation in the previously affected area of the right hamstring. Left-back Hugo Farias continues his recovery after surgery on the lateral meniscus in his right knee.

Training continues on Friday morning. Corinthians sit 11th in the league on 10 points.
