Corinthians start putting up fences for Parque São Jorge car park

This week, Corinthians began a process to improve the safety of members around Parque São Jorge, the club's social headquarters. On Avenida Condessa Elizabeth, fences started being installed for the inauguration of a parking lot for visitors to the area.

Regarding the social club, the location is near Canindé, where the old Terrão used to be. After the installations are completed, fences will also be placed near Tamboréu, close to the entrance of Estádio Alfredo Schürig, Fazendinha, where women's football and youth category games take place.

There is no expected completion date for the installations, nor is it known if other locations besides the two mentioned will receive the structures. It is worth recalling that the area was taken over by the São Paulo City Hall in the past decade, causing the club to lose the parking lots.

Last year, the club and the City Hall signed an agreement granting Corinthians a 40-year concession for the location. Because of this, the management has begun to take steps to improve the security of the cars parked there.
