Corinthians unveil music video to close first season of founders play | OneFootball

Corinthians closed the first season of Os Fundadores, A Origem do Time do Povo at Teatro Corinthians on Saturday, marking it with a new music video led by rapper Edisão ImEdiAto.

The club said the two-month run drew more than 4,000 spectators. To celebrate and underline its history, Edisão ImEdiAto fronts "Time do Povo: Do Bom Retiro pro Mundo".

Published on Corinthians TV, the video stitches footage shot at the theatre during performances, alongside scenes of the Fiel at Neo Química Arena. It also shows the unveiling of the St George statue, trophies in the Corinthians Museum and the Gaviões da Fiel court.

The clip includes photos of idols and appearances from the cast, closing with a speech by the character Miguel Battaglia, the first president. His address vows everything is for the people, and that while any worker wants to play for Corinthians, the club will endure.

The refrain echoes the terrace mood, urging Corinthians to keep fighting, play for the people and keep the bond unbroken.

In farewell, organisers staged an extra show on Friday featuring members of Gaviões da Fiel. With flags, banners and balloons, supporters recreated a matchday atmosphere.

Set in 1910 São Paulo, the play portrays the club's foundation by Carlos Silva, Joaquim Ambrósio, Anselmo Corrêa, Raphael Perrone and Antonio Pereira, stressing working-class roots and a mission to democratise football. Despite the success, there is no date set for a second season.
