Corinthians will be without goalkeeper Lelê for Friday's 2026 Brasileirão Feminino opener against Atlético-MG at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte, kick-off 21:00.

The club said in a statement that she suffered head trauma in the Supercopa Feminina final on Saturday and is following the concussion return protocol, which kept her out of Tuesday's training. She will resume activities gradually under the supervision of the club's Health and Performance unit, with an internal expectation she will be cleared to work with the ball early next week.

The incident occurred in the 16th minute, during a swift Palmeiras attack, when Bia Zaneratto challenged for the ball and Lelê took a knee to the head. The concussion protocol was triggered and she was replaced by Nicole Ramos.

In Lelê's absence, Nicole, a regular starter for much of 2025, is likely to start against her former club, having played for Atlético-MG in 2022 and 2023.

Medical guidance is for a five-day absence, considered necessary for full recovery. Before a return, the club must present detailed tests confirming no symptoms and a medical report on the treatment. Lelê left Arena Barueri after the final walking unaided.
