Coventry City could be set for an interesting summer transfer window, and a promising Premier League talent should be on Lampard's radar.
Coventry City are looking to win promotion into the Premier League this season, and Frank Lampard's side are well-placed to do just that.
The Sky Blues have been the team to beat for much of the 2024/25 season in the Championship, and they'll fancy their chances of holding onto top spot heading into the final few months of this year's campaign.
The likes of Haji Wright, Milan van Ewijk, and Jack Rudoni are just some of the players that have been key to Coventry's promotion push, and Lampard will be hoping to have his star men available, with some potentially tricky tests coming up.
Coventry haven't played in England's top-flight since the 2000/2001 season, where they were relegated whilst under the management of Gordon Strachan, and a return to the Premier League is long overdue for a club that has been through so much.
With promotion potentially on the cards, it's set to be an interesting summer transfer window ahead at the Coventry Building Society Arena, as Lampard looks to potentially build his squad so it's prepared for the Premier League.
It's vital that the Sky Blues' owners are willing to invest in the squad ahead of next season, as otherwise, they're likely to be facing relegation back into the second-tier.

There's little room for error in the Premier League, and so it's vital that Coventry recruit smartly if they're to make a long-awaited return to the top-flight.
The Sky Blues have been brilliant in the Championship so far this season, but it's a considerable step-up to the Premier League, and many promoted teams have been relegated back into the second-tier relatively quickly after either a lack of signings, or lack of quality within their squads.
One team that Coventry City should look at potentially raiding is Wolves, with Rob Edwards' side looking set to prepare for relegation from the top-flight this term.
It's been a forgetful season for Wolves, and their supporters will know that they're likely to be facing a frustrating summer, as clubs look at making offers for some of their best players.
One player that Coventry should look at adding to their squad is Mateus Mane, with the Wolves youngster being a rare bright spark for the Premier League strugglers, who could have their relegation confirmed in the next couple of months.
It would be somewhat of a bold move for Coventry to sign Mane this summer, as he's a player that doesn't have a considerable amount of experience of playing in the Premier League, with this year's campaign being his breakthrough season for Wolves. However, he's a top talent and someone Wolves would want to build around in the EFL.
Mane has a reported transfer value of £17.2million according to Transfermarkt, and considering he's contracted with the club until the summer of 2029, it's unlikely that Wolves are going to be keen to lose one of their brightest talents.

Not many would have heard of Mane heading into the 2025/26 season. He was signed for the club's academy system from National League side, Rochdale, before being thrown into the first-team picture much sooner than he would have originally expected.
That trust in Mane has been repaid as well, with the 18-year-old going on to become a regular for Wolves' senior team in all competitions this term. He's chipped in with goals and assists in the Premier League as well, and will be looking to finish this year's campaign strongly, even if Wolves' relegation is to be confirmed.
Mane averages 1.5 shots per game, whilst also being fouled plenty of times with his direct style of play. Mane has been fouled 36 times this season (as of 14th March), which is the second-most in the Wolves squad, despite playing considerably fewer games than Andre, who has been fouled 37 times this term.
You would imagine that Coventry won't see too much possession in the Premier League compared to the Championship, with the majority of newly-promoted teams typically having less of the ball, which is evident in the 2025/26 season.
Therefore, it's important that Coventry have players that can drive them up the pitch when they are in possession, and with Mane's ability to attract fouls, it could give the Sky Blues team some respite in crucial moments where they're under pressure. No other Wolves player has more successful dribbles per game than Mane, who is level with Joao Gomes and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde for this statistic.
It appears as though Mane's impressive showings haven't gone unnoticed on the international stage either, with the attacking midfielder previously playing for the England Under-18s team. However, it was reported by BBC Sport that both England Under-21s, and the Portuguese national teams are also keeping tabs on him.
Coventry have some strong options in Mane's position already, but adding a player of his quality would be a smart move for now, and the future, as he's a player with significant potential, which could help the Sky Blues financially if they were to move him on later in his career.
The likes of Jack Rudoni, Josh Eccles, and Brandon Asante-Thomas have all played in the central attacking midfield role for Coventry this season, and although they've impressed, Mane has shown that he can already make the step-up to Premier League football in the early stages of his career.
Rudoni is also a player that has attracted interest from Premier League clubs in previous transfer windows, and so it seems as though he's ready-made for the Premier League. However, having a player of Mane's quality challenging him for a starting spot in the Coventry team is never a bad dilemma to have as a manager, as it could get the best out of both players, which would give Frank Lampard a welcome selection dilemma.
Having strength in depth is exactly what newly-promoted teams need if they're to survive, as the busy fixture schedule can be unforgiving on teams that lack the quality within their ranks. Mane would provide energy and trickery going forward in attacking areas for Coventry, and this raw talent would be a shrewd addition to the Coventry team, especially when you consider that Lampard could potentially take Mane's game to the next level.
Ultimately, Lampard's attention will firmly be on the remaining games in Coventry's Championship campaign, and it's crucial that the Sky Blues don't get ahead of themselves, as the second-tier can be an unpredictable league where anyone can beat anyone.
Promotion is firmly in Coventry's hands, and if they can hold their nerve, then it could be an interesting few months ahead, as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
