Coventry City lead the Championship on 80 points from 39 matches, nine clear of Middlesbrough. Ipswich Town and Millwall sit on 69, with Ipswich having a game in hand.

The top two go up automatically. The play-off places, third to sixth, are held by Ipswich, Millwall, Hull City on 66 and Southampton on 63, who are above Wrexham on goal difference.

Derby County are eighth on 60, with Watford ninth on 56 and Norwich City 10th on 54.

Portsmouth sit 21st on 40 from 38 matches, one point above the drop. Leicester City are 22nd on 39 after a six-point deduction for a breach of EFL Regulation. Oxford United are 23rd on 39, and Sheffield Wednesday are bottom on minus six after deductions of 12 points for entering administration and six for breaches of payment obligations.
