Bolton Wanderers’ diminutive loanee Amario Cozier-Duberry is enjoying a standout season in League One — and he notched a rare statistic in his side’s 4-0 victory over Port Vale last weekend.
On loan from Premier League side Brighton, Cozier-Duberry has been a constant menace for defences in the third tier, and his pace and flair proved far too much for the Valiants to handle.
The 20-year-old played a part in all four of Bolton’s goals, finishing the afternoon with two goals and two assists to his name. In doing so, he became the first player this season to record four goal involvements in a single League One match. The win also lifted the Trotters to third in the table, just two points behind leaders Stockport County.
Cozier-Duberry is currently the division’s most productive player, boasting 12 goal involvements in total (six goals and six assists).
With fixtures coming thick and fast, Steven Schumacher’s side will look to make it five wins on the spin when they visit Oldham in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night.
