Cristian, former Corinthians and Flamengo player, has been accused by his estranged wife of home invasion and threats after their split. According to Globo.com, she has requested a protective order from police.

They remain married on paper but have lived apart since August 2023.

A police report filed on Wednesday night at the Women’s Defence Police Station in São Caetano do Sul alleges he entered and searched the couple’s former flat, then changed the lock to stop her and their two children getting in.

The family had been in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, for the festive period.

She also told police she has received repeated threats over claims she is seeing someone new.

The report adds that he was angry, allegedly sought evidence of the possible relationship and aimed to prevent their return to the property.
