Al Ahli are said to have made a concrete offer for Rafa Silva, a move that could complicate his return to Benfica in the January window, according to Fanatik. The Saudi club are domestic rivals of Cristiano Ronaldo's team.
The Saudi side are the latest to enter the race, with no figures disclosed. The region's financial power is often decisive in such negotiations with European clubs.
Besiktas initially wanted about 15 million euros for the Portuguese forward, but are said to have lowered their demand to 13 million to address pressing financial needs. That reduction could hasten negotiations with the Saudi club.
Benfica remain attentive and have shifted their stance. Having initially refused to pay any fee to Besiktas, Rui Costa's hierarchy are now considering putting money on the table to bring him back immediately, an uncommon move.
This season for Besiktas, Rafa Silva, valued at 5 million euros, has played 16 competitive matches, 10 in the Süper Lig, four in the Conference League and two in Europa League qualifying. Across 1,360 minutes he has five goals and three assists, and his contract runs until June 2028.
