Crystal Palace have announced the news that goalkeeper Milla-Maj Majasaari has left the club.

The Eagles revealed the player’s departure via a post on their official club website this morning.

The 25-year-old Finnish international stopper leaves the South Londoners after spending one season with the club.

Majasaari was brought to Crystal Palace by former boss Laura Kaminski last summer. The player went on to make seven appearances for The Eagles in all competitions throughout the 2024/2025 campaign. Majasaari was unable to help Crystal Palace avoid relegation back to Barclays WSL2 after just one season in the top flight.

The keeper remained with Crystal Palace over the summer as they prepared for life back in Barclays WSL2, however, she will now take up a new challenge away from South London. Majasaari’s next career move is not yet known, however, it would be no surprise to see the player playing her football closer to her native Finland in the coming months.

Crystal Palace have plenty of competition within their goalkeeping department. The club have loaned Manchester City keeper Eve Annets while Shae Yañez started in goal against Charlton Athletic on opening day. Youngster Annis-Clara Wright is also pushing for some first team minutes.
