Crystal Palace are reportedly in talks with Chelsea over Axel Disasi (28), according to The Telegraph.

With the Eagles set to see their defender Maxence Lacroix (26) move to Stamford Bridge, they are said to have identified his compatriot as his natural successor.

Already on loan at West Ham United, where he regained regular playing time (16 starts in 17 matches) during the second half of the 2025-26 season, Disasi could therefore soon find himself at a new London club, despite his contract with the Blues not expiring until 2029.

Signed by Chelsea from AS Monaco for €45m in the summer of 2023, the 28-year-old has never really established himself in England, despite a debut season that saw him make no fewer than 31 Premier League appearances.

Since the end of the 2023-24 season, Disasi has made just 17 appearances for Chelsea, and has even spent time with the reserves in recent months. It has been a real descent into hell for the French international, who has five caps to his name.
