Crystal Palace ‘to move for’ Charlie Cresswell amid £20m-plus tag | OneFootball

Sky Sports reports that Crystal Palace are interested in former Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell, who now has a £20m-plus valuation, as they assess options for the 2026-27 Premier League season.

The England youth international came through Leeds’ academy and reached the first team, but minutes were limited in a crowded centre-back department. He ended more than a decade at Elland Road by joining Toulouse in July 2024 for a fee believed to be about £3.8m.

Now 23, his stock has risen. Brighton had a €23m offer rejected in January and could return this summer, although they are set to sign Pascal Struijk from Leeds.

Palace finished two points below Leeds last season in 15th. The report also says Croatia international Ivor Pandur is poised to join Rangers for £6m, with England-capped Jack Butland set to move from Rangers to Hull City for £3m.

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson has passed his medical ahead of a record-breaking £116m transfer to Manchester City. City have also now appointed Enzo Marcesa as their new manager, replacing the outgoing Pep Guardiola.
