Crystal Palace make the short trip to Fulham this lunchtime in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The London rivals are one step away from a Wembley semi-final, as both teams chase a maiden FA Cup – and major trophy – success. With only Manchester City having lifted the FA Cup in the last 66 years among the remaining eight teams, it’s a fascinating quarter-final lineup.
Palace are aiming to reach a second semi-final in four seasons after making the final four in 2021/22, where the Eagles lost to Chelsea.
The Eagles are also one of the form teams in the Premier League with six wins from their last eight games. That run includes a 2-0 win at Fulham on February 22nd.
Jean-Phillipe Mateta is free to return for Crystal Palace. The French forward has not featured since being subjected to a dangerous high challenge in the previous round against Millwall. The incident involving goalkeeper Liam Roberts left Mateta requiring 25 stitches. He will wear a protective mask at Craven Cottage.
Will Hughes is also available despite a Premier League suspension, leaving Palace only without Cheick Doucoure, Chadi Riad and Joel Ward.
Crystal Palace predicted XI: Henderson; Richards, Guehi, Lacroix; Munoz, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell; Eze, Sarr; Mateta
