Crystal Palace’s Daniel Muñoz (29) has been linked with a move to a European giant in recent months, following his excellent start to the season.

The Colombia international joined the Premier League side back in January 2024. He is an ever-present under Oliver Glasner and this season, the right-back has already made 19 appearances in all competitions, registering four goal contributions (two goals, two assists) in that time. He is also an ever-present for his international side, having made 42 appearances for Colombia since making his debut back in 2021.

It was while on international duty that Muñoz responded to questions surrounding his future. The defender’s current deal at Selhurst Park runs until 2028, whilst the club also have the option to extend that deal for a further year.

However, he may not even see out that contract, if the reports of interest from some of Europe’s top clubs are true. “We are speaking about a lot of different clubs,” began Muñoz. “Playing for one of them, be it Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, or Manchester United, would be a dream.”

He continued, “I am working hard to get there. I am giving my all every day to attract their attention. For now, I am focused on my club, on my performances at Crystal Palace. I am not really aware of the rumours. I don’t have any news on potential interest from these teams. We’ll see as the winter transfer window approaches.”
