One of the most emotional moments for the Real Madrid fans during the last season, which had a historic fill of scandals and turbulence, came in the very last league game, when two players, Dani Carvajal and David Alaba, said their goodbyes at the Santiago Bernabeu.

While it has been some weeks since that farewell took place, the two players officially ceased to be Merengue players only yesterday, on 1st July, when their contracts actually expired. For now, one of these players, Alaba, is competing for the World Cup with his Austrian national team.

On the other hand, Carvajal was not called up by Luis de la Fuente for his Spanish national team, and is currently carefully considering his future options. According to Diario AS, he already has several offers on the table, including from Saudi Arabia, MLS, the Qatari league, and also from some European clubs, but he is not going to rush his choice and would carefully consider these options before making a decision.

One of the main factors that would affect his decision in this aspect would be his family, as he wants to ensure they continue to live comfortably and his children’s studies are not affected by his move. Meanwhile, he also wants to continue playing at the highest competitive level, especially after having finished the last season on quite a high note.

For now, Dani Carvajal is enjoying his vacations, and it would only be after the World Cup that he would carefully study the offers he has on the table. For their part, Real Madrid fans would also be keenly following the player as he embarks on another adventure in his career, and would be hoping he would continue proving himself at whichever club he chooses, after having led their team for almost the entirety of his career.
