Danilo started in Flamengo’s 2-1 win over Vitória at the Maracanã, and after Pedro restored the lead he immediately pushed team-mates to refocus.

According to Coluna Do Fla, he celebrated briefly then called for a quick reset so the ball could be put back in play.

The defender’s reaction aimed to stretch the margin, since a bigger cushion would strengthen Flamengo’s position for the return meeting.

With a 2-1 advantage, Flamengo visit Salvador to face Vitória on Thursday, 14 May, at Estádio do Barradão, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time. A draw of any score secures a place in the last 16, while defeat by one goal would take the tie to penalties.
