While rumors have linked Antonio Rüdiger with a move to Galatasaray, the Madrid hierarchy has firmly shut that door. Not only is the German center-back not for sale, but the club is reportedly contemplating a contract extension, viewing him as a vital pillar in an otherwise fluctuating backline.

Rebuffed in their pursuit of Rüdiger, Galatasaray's gaze has now turned toward David Alaba. In a significant shift, reports suggest Madrid's management would be willing to facilitate the Austrian's departure in the January window, potentially through a mutual termination of his contract.

This potential availability, however, meets a personal resolve to stay. Alaba, despite facing intense competition for minutes, has shown little inclination to leave the Spanish capital. Just last summer, he declined an offer that would have paid him half of his final year's salary to exit early, choosing instead to remain at the Bernabéu to fight for his place and his full contractual earnings.
