The American has visited the city of Sheffield over the course of the Easter weekend
Prospective new Sheffield Wednesday owner David Storch has outlined his plans to improve Hillsborough as he shared details of his time in the city.
The Owls’ have been in limbo for months now, having entered administration back in October, with a consortium led by James Bord then withdrawing from the process to buy the club despite being named as preferred bidders.
That left Wednesday in a difficult situation, but it was reported last month that the Storch family were in pole position to buy the club, and they are confident of completing their takeover this month.

As they close in on a deal, David Storch has been visiting the city, and he took to social media to reflect on his time in Sheffield with a message to the fans.
“Another amazing week in Sheffield with so many special moments. Every time I come here, I fall more in love with this city and its people, who have been so warm and welcoming.
“Great interactive Q&A with the @swfc staff at Hillsborough; their loyalty is admirable. We will restore joy and pride to the offices as we create a culture of excellence.
“I've been impressed with the strong civic leadership I've seen from Mayor @olivercoppard and@katejosephs. I have further enjoyed building a great relationship with Clive Betts. Also loved my time with Sheffield Wednesday Legend, @HirstyD9 who still has so much passion for the Owls.
“My team and I are working on so many important initiatives so that we can hit the ground running once we take over this wonderful club. Most notably; improvements to Hillsborough and the design of our kit and crest (stay tuned!)
“Had the opportunity to host a lunch at the outstanding new restaurant in the City Centre; Maria. You guys have to try it! We were joined by @LordBlunkett who enlightened us with his many stories spanning 75 years of genuine love for the club through the good times and not so.
“I finished my visit, stopping in at the Broomhill Tavern, relaxing over a pint with some new friends watching our match against Stoke City. I'd like to wish everybody a very Happy Easter weekend as we continue into next week heads down on this journey to rebuild this incredible football club.
“PS. was also lucky enough to find 2 vintage shirts @RagParade ... Love it!”

Storch’s communication with the Sheffield Wednesday fans on social media has gone down well, and the fans will love to read this message.
He has clearly bought into what the club is all about, and it’s good to see that he is visiting the city to see what it’s like, to speak to fans regularly, and to get a feel of what the club means to the locals.
From his update, talk of building a ‘culture of excellence’ will go down very well, and it’s nice to see that he appreciates the work of those in the building who have given a lot during some very difficult times.
Furthermore, fans will be excited to see what developments come in terms of improving Hillsborough, as well as the kit and the crest.
Strangely, despite their torrid time on the pitch, Sheffield Wednesday are actually ending the campaign with some optimism due to the takeover, and there will be a belief that the Storch family can help the club kick-on in the long-term.
Of course, there is a lot of work for them to do in the short-term once the deal is finalised, but all the early signs suggest they could be the perfect owners for Wednesday, which is what the fans deserve after what they have had to endure over the past 12 months in particular.
