Luis Suárez sparked the win in the ninth minute with a set piece assist, as Sporting CP won 5-1 over Vitória S.C. The forward later scored and laid on another to settle the contest.

Early on, his whipped dead ball delivery was headed in by Gonçalo Inácio, setting the tone for the Leões to attack on their terms.

After the restart, Suárez timed his run through the centre and finished a through ball from Pedro Gonçalves (61.). He then turned provider again, sliding a precise pass for Luis Guilherme to slot home from the middle of the box (74.).

Suárez ended with four attempts, two on target, two key passes and three fouls won, underlining his all round threat. He is now on 26 Liga Portugal goals, top of the competition's scoring chart.
