Pierce Charles swung the game in the 52nd minute with a sharp low save from Isaac Price, underpinning Queens Park Rangers' 1-1 draw away to West Bromwich Albion.
The goalkeeper's first big intervention came as he dived right to turn away Price's skidding effort (52.). It set the tone for a composed second half under pressure.
He then sprang left to tip Chris Mepham's close-range header over (64.). Moments later, he held Callum Styles' hit from a tight angle to the centre (68.).
Charles' most telling stop arrived in the second minute of stoppage time at the end of the second half, pushing away Jayson Molumby's drive after a Conor Townsend lay-off. He finished with four saves and two high claims, the key reason Rangers left with a point.
Because his handling was secure and his positioning tidy, West Bromwich Albion's aerial bombardment and late long shots never rattled the visitors, allowing Rangers to absorb long spells of pressure.
Queens Park Rangers move up from fourth to third in the Championship. West Bromwich Albion remain second. Rangers host Preston North End next. West Bromwich Albion visit Wolverhampton Wanderers next.
