Victor Osimhen broke the derby open in the 40th minute with a close-range finish, setting Galatasaray on their way to a 3-0 win over Fenerbahçe.
He threatened early, lifting a close-range chance over after Leroy Sané's cross (8.). The Nigeria international then headed wide from a Yunus Akgün delivery (26.). Another header glanced past the far post from an Ismail Jakobs centre (37.).
Osimhen finally converted from inside the six-yard area (40.), sweeping in after Mario Lemina's pass to hand Aslan control.
He drew a save in the second minute of first half stoppage time, Ederson holding a left-sided header. After the restart, Ederson received a second yellow and was sent off (62.). Osimhen's shot was then blocked from the right side of the box (81.). Moments later, Mert Günok saved his drive from the centre (82.).
He finished with eight attempts, three on target, and 13 touches in the box, a profile that pinned Kanarya's centre-backs and kept them defending their own area.
Aslan stay top of the Süper Lig table. Next up, Aslan visit Samsunspor, while Kanarya host Başakşehir.
How high would you rate Osimhen's performance tonight?
