Cláudio Braga set the tone in the fourth minute with a crisp assist and later scored, driving Hearts to a 4-0 win over Dundee Utd.

Braga slipped a neat pass for Tom Renaud to lash into the top left (4.). Moments later he had a shot blocked (7.). A close-range header then forced a low save as the Jambos kept the pressure on (9.).

He remained the game's reference point, rattling the woodwork from the centre of the box (33.) before arriving to finish from close range after a cut-back (56.).

The midfielder capped it with a square pass for Josh McPake to arrow in from the left side of the box (67.). He finished with one goal, two assists, five attempts and two key passes, plus eight touches in the area, keeping United pinned back.

Because Braga repeatedly received between the lines and combined sharply in the half-spaces, the Jam Tarts controlled territory and kept the Arabs scrambling to adjust.

Hearts rise from 10th to 4th and host Benfica in the Europa League next. United drop from 7th to 11th and face Celtic in the League Cup.
