Italy legend Alessandro Del Piero believes Roma and Paulo Dybala must talk openly and avoid discussing the striker’s transfer situation on the media.
Dybala has attracted interest from Turkish giants Galatasaray, and with just six months left in his contract at the Stadio Olimpico, his January exit can’t be ruled out entirely.
Del Piero knows Dybala well, as the Argentinean spent several years at Juventus before joining Roma on a free transfer in 2022.

“What I can say is that Paulo is a great professional. Whatever is going on doesn’t affect his contribution on the pitch, as we saw in the latest match,” Del Piero told Sky Sport Italia.
“I hope these situations are solved internally and not in the media to avoid unneeded tension. At the end of the day, it’s very easy. The club and the player must talk and understand the solutions for the future and what they need to find a common path. When you go out on the newspapers, you lose time in useless things.”
During the same interview, Del Piero discussed the Juventus transfer situation, suggesting that Bianconeri fans will understand the captain Danilo if he joins Napoli in the winter transfer window.
