Deportivo ‘to move for’ Adrià Pedrosa as left-back search continues | OneFootball

Deportivo are targeting a left-back, exploring a move for Adrià Pedrosa, 28, with all signs pointing to Angeliño being the next signing. According to Superdeporte, the club have made initial moves for Pedrosa while their focus remains on the left side.

The Galician club have already added Gijselhart, Amatucci, Ede, Jensen and the higher profile Leo Román and Aubameyang.

The Roma left-back is said to view joining Deportivo positively, having worn the club’s colours in his youth. He previously featured for Manchester City and reached a notable peak at RB Leipzig, showcasing his attacking threat. Now late in his career, he hopes to contribute experience to Antonio Hidalgo’s team.

Another option admired at Riazor is Adrià Pedrosa. Sevilla hold his registration and are said to be looking to move him on after Julio Díaz’s arrival and with captain Gabriel Suazo also in that position.

Despite a contract until 2028, the Barcelona-born full-back would welcome a transfer to regain prominence. His loan at Elche last season fell short of expectations, and he aims to rediscover the form shown at Espanyol from 2018 to 2023. Riazor could suit him, although Angeliño’s signing might block the move, with both arrivals not ruled out.
